Anniversary

 

4 Years ago, I made the best decision I ever could. I married my best friend and love of my life! Jordan I am so happy to call myself your wife. Thank you for all you do for me. Thank you for always making me feel like the most special girl in the world. I have enjoyed these years more than I could ever have imagined. We have grown so much. You are always finding new phrases and faces that make me laugh. I think we are different people than we were when we met at 16 but I know it is in the best way. Our 2 lives have become one big happy one. I think back and smile. I look forward and smile. I look next to me, there you are, and I smile. So excited for what the future holds and can't wait to see you snuggle our baby for the first time. Mo-mo.

She Doesn't Give A Damn

I remember liking this song in high school. Teenage Dirtbag.

Well I have been youtubing covers the last 5 days and have re-fallen in love.

It's got such a cute little story line.

"She rings my bell. I've got gym class in half an hour. I know how she rocks, in keds and tube socks. But she doesn't know who I am. And she doesn't give a damn about me."

Remember high school??

Or just school in general?

I can't wait till 4th period! 

Oh I'm super bored, I'm gonna write a note to my bff in 3 colors of gel pen.

Those days seem so long gone. I don't mind most days. But every once and awhile I catch myself missing photography, math, art, or just feeling that I was learning and growing each day.

Then I push those thoughts aside and watch Teen Mom.

In spirit of Throw Back Thursdays I wanted to share the 2 photo's of mine and Gina's St Geezy trip 4 years ago!

Paranoia?

Hi.

As a youngin I loved horror films. I loved going with friends and getting slightly spooked but mostly I was fearless! We'd walk around at all hours of the night just thinking we were invincible. We didn't expect anything could hurt us. Although, I have one memory of fear.

I was 14, at my friends house one night after basketball practice. I only lived a street away so when the time came for me to head home I said I'd walk. No biggie, I did it all the time. It was an arctic winter night, I was dumb enough to be walking around in sport shorts. I got cold on my way home so I decided to jog. As I reached the top of my friends street and turned the corner I was still at a good pace when I saw a dark figure ahead of me. Instantly, I stopped. Sure, he's probably harmless, but I had this feeling I should stop.

I start to walk as quietly and slowly as I can to put more space between me and this figure. We carry on this way for what feels like forever, but really, must have only been 30 seconds at the most. Just as the figure steps under a light at the end of the next street I step on a slab of ice. Although I slowly put my weight onto it, it cracks.

The figure turns in an instant to face me.

I pause.

He's wearing a ski mask. You know, the ones that cover your whole face and have the eyes and mouth cut out.

 

I'm still.

He's still.

Then.

He starts to walk towards me. So slowly. I stare for a moment to make sure my eyes aren't deceiving me. When I am positive that he's headed my way, I pivot and run.

Faster and faster till I can't feel my legs.

I escaped. It could have been harmless. But I ran.

Shania Makes Me Feel Sexy

Cleaned up the house when I got off work

Made the bed.

And have been lounging on the bed ever since. With my lappy top.

I'm lazy.

Downloaded some muse - sac.

For some reason it's taken me THIS long to get some Shania on my Ipod.

As I've lounged, I've browsed, these are just some old pictures of me for THROWBACK Thursday

They make me feel like an old lady.

Haha. Just kidding. Kinda.

90's Playlist

So if you listen to the radio, the majority of the stations just play about 5 songs on repeat over and over through out the day. In order to break it up a bit, today at work we're creating a playlist of hits from our past. If you're anything like me, you love the 90's stuff. Two Things

FIRST: During your growing up-ness did you ever call anyone a "poser"

Example: You see a kid that doesnt know how to skate wearing "skater shoes" and people would be like "jake you're such a poser you dont even skate" when in actuallity he just thought the shoes were cool.

Well in junior high, I was jake. And I did not know how to skate. Poser was a weird word. If you heard it, dont you agree? Or when you'd diss someone really bad and say "moted" was that just in my school? You'd be like "Moooooteeeeed".. Haha.

SECOND: What do you think about my new blog header? I drew this, took a picture of it, then photo edited it with photobucket. Have you used photobucket lately? Its pretty awesome!

I Am Seeing Dollar Signs / Mobile Photo's

My husband and I have been working hard to pay things off, trying to eliminate our debt and save on top of that. In the past few months we've:

• Paid off my Target card.
• Paid off my Wal Mart card.
• Paid off Jordan's Wal Mart card.
• Paid off Jordan's Best Buy card.
• Paid my Line of Credit down to approx 20% of its max.
• Paid Jordans Credit Card down to less than half.
• Saved almost $1000 bones.
• Bought a fridge with a Credit Card.
• Paid off that Lowes Credit Card within a week.
• Bought our Home.
• Bought blinds for our Home. Almost all windows are hung. One to go!

Plan to pay our cars off soon as we can. Then we can sit super comfortably. I wish I was smarter as a child, when I had a job and no bills. I just spent all my money on shopping. Shopping. And Oh yea Shopping! But we're trying to make up for it now.

Weekend Plans:
Tomorrow Team Breakfast and later The Hunger Games
Saturday work (sad face) and IKEA for a dresser
Sunday Gina and Sherri come over to see home

Should be great. Cannot wait!

Tarzan Boy

I just randomly started singing the Oh oh oh oh OW oh wow part last night.

And it hit me like a brick wall.

That song is from my past!

I havent heard it for maybe 10-15 years! No joke.

So I was in a search to find out who it was.

With help from friends at work we figured it out.

Isnt this video full of such great graphics??

Oh man I love being an 80's kid.

So with us moving out tomorrow I wanted to do a recap of my past rooms/living spaces.
