My sweet little baby niece turns 6 this Saturday! I can't believe she is getting so big. I got to spend a lot more time with her when she was a baby so she is incredibly close to my heart. For the longest time, when I was living at home, she was one of my best friends. She is getting to an age where she's too cool to hang out with her old lil auntie. But I hope one day she'll think I'm cool again. Love her to pieces!!
I had a little bit of an awkward day. It started out with a mini meeting at work where Jordan's BFF, Derrick, showed up in a sparkly dress and blonde wig. Shortly after, my boss who I adore, announced he is abandoning us! For a good cause but I can't help but feel like I got dumped on my birthday. Then I had a 3 dollar massage that I signed up for at work and the lady says "did you want to use your rubber band to pull your hair up" I politely say "Sorry. I didn't bring one" The lady then gently pulls on the hair tie around my wrist. Embarrassed, I put my hair up. THEN!!! We had a work lunch. Which wasn't necessarily awkward, just kind of awesome actually. They had hawaiian sounding drummers playing "Call Me Maybe" I fell in love immediately and want to book a trip to Hawaii like yesterday.
Oh and they had these YUMMY slushies with ice cream in them. I need one of those every day.
Anyway... Yeah. What a day.
And my work is hiring yet again!! So much change this last year or 2. I can't believe it.

Haha 'like yesterday' ummm hello!!!!! Those slushies with ice cream.. that's basically Hawaii's trademark.. remember how they had snow cone places errywhere?? Well, that's what they have in them!
