Brooklyn's Nursery
Baby girl's nursery is complete! There were a few things I had thought about adding, one long shelf on the wall with the rocker. Window ledges. These things may come in the future but for now I am pleased with how it turned out. It is very peaceful and I just love sitting in her room thinking of all the memories it will soon be filled with. Mommy and Daddy are so excited to meet you baby girl! You can join us as soon as you're ready :)
The mood I was going for was a very light pink with splashes of gold to make it a little more vintage. I still wanted it to look modern though. You can see all the picture frames have yet to be filled with images. I am thinking of what to put in each of them. Not a huge deal. Probably some baby bump pictures, some mum and pop pictures and then ones of our little bambina herself.
I cannot believe she will be here within the next few weeks.

Mirror
Doing a little stop by Hobby Lobby with Gina yesterday they had all mirror's 50% off! I could not resist. I originally had a place in mind for the little guy above our TV but when I got home, I changed my mind. I wish I could cover all my walls in framed mirrors, they are just so pretty and open up the room.
That wall feels a little naked now. I want to get two matching rod cook book holders for each side, or two long picture frames. Any thoughts? Also I want to do half the wall white and frame it and the top half gray.

Sky Blue / Mirror Upgrade
We have been painting our room and finished last weekend.
When we moved in everything was the same color,
the walls, the trim, the doors.
So ... blah.
It was hard choosing a color for our room but we decided to leap with light blue.
When we were buying the paint they thought it was for a baby room.
Nope.
Haha.
Also today I got a new mirror to match our dresser better.

AFTER:
We love it.
It brightens the room even more.
And it just doesn't get better than natural light.

Kitchen Knobs
I am feeling pretty accomplished!
Yesterday Jordan and I went to IKEA and got the rest of the handles we needed to complete our little Kitchen project.
We worked on it last night and this morning and Vuala!
It's done!
I love the way it turned out!
Except that despite the fact that we measured everything before drilling.
Some handles are still a tid bit crooked.
Drives me a little crazy.
But not much we can do at this point :P
After the project was completed we headed over to the pool for some rays.
I got a few mobile pictures.
Later we went to Wingers for food and we had the most amazzzzing dessert to share!
Asphalt pie.
Have you tried it??
YUMMM!
Tomorrow is going to be fun too :)
Me and Gina are going to take photo's of her cutie and hopefully squeeze in a little shoppin or lunch.
Then later I'm going to play volley ball with my family.
LOVE weekends!
Oh and here's a fun picture from my half Service Specialist retreat Friday.
I LOVE my job!

Movie Theatre Terror / Limbo Weekend
I'm in limbo.
Basically meaning I feel weird because today was Monday.
The first day back from the weekend.
But I don't work tomorrow.
So it's kinda like a Friday.
So I am posting about my weekend but I sort of feel like it is the weekend.
Ya hurr me?
Anywaysssss...
My weekend was gureat.
Friday night J-bag went and saw Batman at... get this.. 11:25 PM!!
I was petrified of 2 things:
1. He wouldn't make it home
2. I'd be home alone till like 3 AM.
We both survived. Thank the heavens.
I don't know how I used to sleep alone every night alone when he was working grave yards. It's scary!
Saturday Jordan AND myself went to see Batman during the day time.
I was scared the whole time. Keeping my eye on the exit and entrance the entire time.
Looking out for suspicious behavior.
But other than that the movie was actually really good!
Remember how I said my desire was low to see it?
Well I'm glad I did. By far my favorite Batman to this day.
Plus I just Love JOSEPH GORDON LEVITT.
(I wanna watch 500 Days of Summer tonight!)
Later Saturday, we went to see Jordan's friend Paul Sheffield perform at Wiseguys comedy club.
We stopped at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory for some yummy treats.
We had a lot of fun. It was a cute little date time.
Sunday we played kick ball with my familia.
Then later my sissy and her fiance came over and hung out for a little bit.
Haha I love this bottom picture for some reason.
AND we put handles on our cabinets! Yaye!!
BEFORE:
AFTER:
We still have more to do but we got started and I love how it adds just a little sum-in sum-in!
Sunday night we also watched the new episode of Breaking Bad in our bed together.
These little moments are what I look forward to.
If you watch this show, how awesome is Jesse??
Love him!
Random photo's:
We've definitely had some rainy days lately.
So I've tried to get some cool pictures.
Unfortunately by the time I grab my camera it's pretty much stopped,
and all that's left is drops on my window.
Happy 24th Utahn's!
Now Playing: Katy Perry - Hummingbird Heartbeat
(thanks to the katy perry movie i saw with gina!)

Nikon Baby
I am very excited to announce some great news! I had an interview last week, Thursday to be exact, and on Friday I received the wonderful news that I got the job! ME!! I was and am SO SO excited! I could die. Just joking. But seriously. I keep thinking I'll wake up and it'll all be a dream. I'm humbled and truly know how lucky I am to receive this promotion.
So this means I will no longer be on the phones. Going from 8 hours / day to NONE is going to be definitely one of the best parts of my promotion. I am very excited to learn all of the new ins and outs of my new position. I will be staying on my same team but am becoming our Service Lead Specialist.
Friday me and Jordan went out to dinner to celebrate and then Saturday I went and got myself a little congratulations present :) A Nikon. My "fancy shmancy" camera that I have been wanting for what feels like forever. My best friend has a Cannon and she really likes it, I've gotten to use it once or twice and I loved it also, so I almost got the Cannon but have heard great things about Nikon's as well. Plus it was on SALE for the last day of the sale, however I went back the next day and still on sale, but oh well :P

As you can see after the lighting has changed quite a bit. That's because it took me FOUR hours to do 2 doors. the one on the right still needs painting. And our front door. And all doors upstairs.
Here are some pictures I took with my new camera!
Times are good!
