Weekend Verbs

Hair grows. I have been on hair growing watch for the last couple months and feel I'm finally back to where I was before I chopped 'er all off back in October 2011.

It has been another very relaxing weekend staying in. I tell myself to paint but then end up vegging out on the couch instead catching up on my Kardashians (you judging me?) and Vampire Diaries.

We did get out of the house momentarily to see Jurassic Park in 3D. I was DYING to go! I loved every second of it.

J and I also went for a nice little bike ride this afternoon. Pedaling up the hills pretty much killed me. This Spring weather sure is lovely though.

Window / Weekend

No such thing as too many days like these.

 This weekend was enjoyable. Just as they always are.

Today was a lot of fun. I went with a friend of mine and took some pictures for one of her friends sisters graduation pictures. I was more there for assistance but I took a few pictures myself. I like playing with photography. I'm not serious with it by any means but.. yeah.

Last night I went bowling with my siblings and cute little niece.

My nephew will be here any day. So excited for babies!

Twinkie Cupcakes

Remember that big announcement that Twinkie's are no longer going to be sold and everyone was going crazy! Well, FEAR NO MORE, Gina and Allie to the rescue!

I got a handy dandy recipe off of Pinterest and they were super sweet and buttery but everyone else who ate them said they tasted just like Twinkies!

It was a success over all! Don't you love our t-shirts??

Last night my dad, Jodi and my step sisters came over to visit me and J. It was very fun to sit and talk to them. But my step sisters loved the spare cupcakes I had laying around which is good! Less for me to eat.

Oh and I never went to Target yesterday. I saw that Jordan was parked behind me and decided that was a reason to stay home and warm!

Ho! Ho! Ho!

Last week Gina and I got together and went to The Wood Connection for the very first time! That place is awesome! I love it. Can't wait for my next project. We got letters to paint and modge podge for Christmas decor. Mine say "Ho Ho Ho"

I think I need a little Santa to go in front of them or something.

Our weekend has been great. Yesterday we went to breakfast at Denny's with my family, my sweet grandma paid for everyone. And today was our baking party! This year we did some oreo truffles. I ate a TON and now my tummy hurts. So worth it though :)

Yesterday I got to check off my list one of the things I wanted to do this weekend!

I sure feel domesticated hahah.

This weekend has been pretty uneventful.

Except:

Jordan traded in his car.

We went on a family hike.

Sighhh...

Today was an interesting one.

Direct TV was out here for 3 hours Monday and said they were coming back today to do MORE stuffs.

So their time frame was 9 - 12.

Not nearly as bad as last time cause at least we did not have plans around this time at all.

But we waited. and waited.

No one called or showed up.

Real professional.

So we went and got lunch.

Hit the pool, I got to wear my new suit.

I got a roxy bikini for $15 bucks!

We took a short afternoon nap (sun can sure make ya tired)

And then went and saw a movie.

Premium Rush.

It was good.

I'm beat.

I love this right now,

Weekend Fun

Weekend Review!

Friday: Jaydon's 1st birthday party. Helped mom paint. Hung with my sissy and her fiance.

Saturday: Started painting our bedroom. We rearranged our living room and office area. Went to Lowes and got blinds. Made chicken fettuccini! Yum.

Sunday: Went back to Lowes to return our blinds (they were missing pieces). Painted more. Went to Kaydee's 5th birthday party at the park. Jordan's sister and her family came to visit.

It was a good weekend!

Going to finish up this post so I can go snuggle with my hubby and watch some Breaking Bad.

Day at the Beach

Crazy that just last week the air was looking like so..

And just yesterday, Gina and her baby girl came over and it looked much more lovely.

We went to this man-made beach by my house.

This last week has been a little cray cray.

I left my camera cord at work, so I wasnt able to upload pictures till now.

But it's been fun.

Thursday a girl at my work threw an impromptu bachelorette party for another coworker who is getting married.

It was fun.

OH and for my work pot luck I made this amazing recipe from pinterest!

 Yeah the picture isnt the best but it was SO Yummy.

They are smores bars.

You basically melt marshmellows and mix in golden gram cereal and chocolate chips then let it cool in the fridge.
